Every day brings with it many situations. Each situation brings with it some choices. Each choice brings with it two roads. One road which you run towards; the other which you run away from. But run you must!

Radio Times

Having served as cinematographer on Linguswamy's original Tamil hit of the same name, Jeeva takes over the directorial reins for this Bollywood remake. Abhishek Bachchan and Bhoomika Chawla assume the roles taken by Madhavan and Meera Jasmin as the lovesick couple whose romance is jeopardised by her gangster brother, played here by Mahesh Manjrekar. It's pretty much a two-act affair. In the first, boy meets girl; in the second, boy bashes brother. Jeeva's experience behind the camera shows in the confident visuals, but his pacing lacks variation, either being soul-searchingly sensitive or slam-bam frantic. Moreover, the soundtrack by Himesh Reshammiya and lyricist Sameer lacks originality.

Run... to watch it!

Mohammed from Birmingham, England, 30th September, 2004

A very good film, a different type of love story. Good comedy parts as well as excellent fight scenes and a great allround performance from Abhishiekh probably with his best performance so far and is starting to live up to expectations. Bhoomika Chawla is also very good with her role. Some good music. The film is well paced and always moving ahead. Overall a good film to watch with something for everyone.

Run Away...

Mordechai from UK, 9th December, 2004

A girl falls in love with a boy against her family's wishes. Gee, that's only been done about a million times before...

It is well directed with some beautiful locations. Songs are pleasant if not particularly memorable. Abishek's acting improves with every movie, although he still imitates his dad's mannerisms too much, especially in his dancing.
The new girl, Bhoomika Chawla, is very plain looking, and it is difficult to see how she got this leading role unless she has some family connections in the industry.
There is also more of the intrusive product placement that is plagueing Bollywood movies these days.

A run-of-the-mill movie, not awful but just not very good.

Run (2004)

A Customer from London, England, 12th February, 2008

Not worth watching. Hopeless, bungled script with lots of fighting and dancing. That just about sums up this movie.

Run Run Run away from this DVD pointless

Mancub from Wembley, 14th December, 2005

This is a pathetic excuse of a movie, even by Bollywood standards, which relies more on quantity than quality. You ask youself, what is the point of this movie, why have 2 story lines where there is no connection Bollywoof films survive on danciong and great songs, regardless of storyline. Here the dancing is Atrocious, and the songs are just bareable. Abhishek was good in refugee. Bhoomika isn't exactly Kajol or Aishwarya Rai, just ordinary looking. Give me Munnabhai MBBS anyday

this film is watchable but the action is a bit over the top, abhishek trying to be bit of a kung fu master but hey i guess not everyone suits the role of trying to be a hero!!!!
