some tongue in cheek comedy, OHHH so predictable parts...(helicopter bit, say no more eh ;) ) What can I say apart from don't waste an evening, really not worth bothering about (unless your trying to learn chinese)

i am totally dissapointed with this film :-( for if it was made right it would be fantastic. its in chinese with subtitles which i dont mind normally BUT the subtitles goes so fast that in some parts of it you just cannot read it all so u end up missing half of it :-( the acting what can i say about that about 3 actors get it right the rest of em are terrible at points it gives u the impression that its a comedy but when u read what they r saying its not meant to be funny atall. it does have some good special effects and even tho the script is a bit jumpy (by this i mean its not very good and gives u some bits of parts of a story that u never arent quite sure wether its relevent to the story line or not. or that could be due to the speed of the subtitles i missed bits of it) it did manage to get some teary moments which did get me to cry which is the best thing i can say about this film . if it was remade in english i would definately watch it but i wouldnt bother with this one sorry xxx

I actually enjoyed this film. Yeah, there are better disaster flicks out there, but this certainly enterained me for 90 minutes or so. If you don't like subtitled films give it a miss though.

In 3 words this film is mind numbingly torturous. Don't get me wrong I like Korean/Japanese films, but, my pustular psoriasis on my feet was more entertaining and less painful (and it was very painful to walk) than watching this film.The first 63, YES, 63, minutes tried in vain to give us insight into the characters relationships, but, it failed on all levels and the dialogue was appalling. it started to get interesting when the tsunami FINALLY struck and I thought the film was going to get better, but, alas I was sorely disappointed as holes in the disaster sequence showed quickly. Do yourself a favour, go out, fall asleep (which I almost did watching this) or just do anything else but DON'T hire this film and waste around 100 minutes of your life that you'll tidal wave goodbye and never get back.

was a good film and funny in parts. but did not realise when we rented it that it had sub titles . It would of been more enjoyable if it was in english as you spent a lot of the time trying to read it and miss some off the action.
