my daughter really enjoyed this story of scooby doo. The Mystery Begins takes you back to when the four teenage sleuths Fred, Daphne, Shaggy and Velma (plus one dog detective called Scooby Doo) first met, and how they formed Mystery Inc. After a misunderstanding on the bus, they all receive detention and get to know each other, while reading mystery novels. The teenagers are unfairly accused of staging a spooky practical joke complete with scary ghosts. They are suspended from Coolsville High, so to clear their names, they team up to solve this supernatural mystery and head straight into nonstop laughs and adventure. well worth watching !!

Scooby Doo

If you love kids films they you will love this one. I thought it was great. I honestly forgot Scooby was cgi. Shaggy was great, but perhaps I am biased as I am an old fan of the original cartoon Mystery Machine.

got this for the kids as they love the other 2 live action scooby doo titles. but it was not good! they lost interest not even halfway through, walking out of the the room to go and play and not watch this film. it wasn't very interesting but it's not aimed at me :o) i'd rent something else!

enjoyed the credits

a serviceable direct to dvd movie. Nothing spectacular or particularly riviting about the film. A rather dull story line that could have been ripped from the show (and donein 20 mins) having said that, the end credits that mimic the opening credits of the cartoon were done well, forgetting the terrible cover of the theme

Slow going

i got this for my children as they have loved all the other scooby films but this one is so slow and quite boring, it tells you how they all got together but not good at all compared to the other ones.
