Flawless...absolutely FAULTLESS!!

Jayney from from London, 25th May, 2009

I am not a huge Demi Moore fan and when I read about this movie, I couldn't help but immediately compare it with 'Entrapment' (Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta Jones). Although Sean Connery is an actor not many can compare with, Michael Cane is a legend in his own right and I knew he would deliver a great performance, however, I thought there was absolutely no way Moore could could out-do Zeta! and although I still rate Zeta's performance as somewhat untouchable (in Entrapment anyway), Moore proved she can give as good as she gets in this movie! Set in the 1950's, Moore's stiff upper lip ('proper' English) performance takes a little getting used to, but with the movie being as good as it is, you can actually overlook it and realise she isn't that bad! Cane and Moore make a fantastic, if not unlikely team, which makes this movie even more interesting. The 'how did he do it' will really start bugging you and will leave you guessing right to the end. A clever 'oh my gosh' movie, which will have you reciting the old saying 'act the fool to catch the wise'!! Very cleverly thought out and very very different to Entrapment!! I'd definitely watch this again! SUPERB!!

At last a decent family film

Wooster from , 10th June, 2009

Fed up with constant swearing, endless blood baths and damaged bent cops then Flawless is for you. The film has the feel and style of a 1960's family entertainment crime caper (it's actually set in 1960), which is meant as a big compliment, and moved along at a sensible pace. No flashing CGI starships or monsters or rampant crash-through-the-streets car chases, just a decent story which certainly had me wondering how the crime was committed - and would they get away with it. With strong performances from Michael Caine and Demi Moore Flawless is a good family film and one I would recommend to anyone.

Ok for one viewing

gv from , 8th June, 2009

I always rate a film by if I wish to see it again, this is not one of them, its worth a viewing but nothing stays with you, nice to watch a normal story instead of a hollywood blockbuster,Moore and Caine work well but at the end why waste £100m,spend it. Guy Vase Aberdeen

Flawless Picture!

Great theme - good acting - nice plot Really put you into the movie although Demi Moore's character a little shallow. Nice twist at the end - one to recommend - all our family enjoyed it.

Good old-fashioned heist movie

A Customer from Nottingham, 4th January, 2010

I'm not sure why this has been listed as a 15 Certificate, as my copy states it's only a 12, and apart from a single use of the F word, there is nothing at all in it to make it unsuitable for general viewing. Michael Caine is great, Demi Moore's performance is disappointingly wooden, but overall it's a very interesting plot that keeps you guessing to the end as to how the heist was pulled off, and also why? If you're looking for a good old-fashioned film for a rainy Sunday afternoon, that doesn't contain any sex, violence, and a minimum of bad language, then this is it.

good worth watching

shelita from , 23rd November, 2009

Its got Sir Michael in it so its got to be good - but really its a great period set caper. Demi does a good job in a role she rarely plays - interesting historical references also. Good fun.
