New Narnia tale to premiere in London

Fantasy blockbuster The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian will receive its premier at the O2 Arena in London in what Disney is reportedly calling the "biggest single screen, shared audience experience ever". Phew.

According to the BBC, an audience of 10,000 will be the first to see the new movie - the follow-up to 2005's The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe.

For the first time, a giant screen will be installed at the arena - formerly the Millennium Dome - for the showing and a portion of ticket sales will go to the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

Prince Caspian is the second of the seven Narnia novels written by CS Lewis. It follows the Pevensie children of The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe as they return to the fantastical land of Narnia to help its rightful ruler, Prince Caspian, claim his throne.

The new film stars Oscar winner Tilda Swinton, Liam Neeson and Ben Barnes of Stardust as Caspian.

The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian will go on general release in the UK in June.
